66, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Dan was born in Hammond, IN to the late Joseph and Jane (nee Dobrowolski) McCullough. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Lenert); loving father of Kathleen (Jeffery) Yakey; cherished grandfather of Alyssa, Emma, and Tyler Yakey; dear brother of Jane (David) Hensley, the late James McCullough, and Joseph (Connie) McCullough. Dan was a retired Financial Manager for Halstar Chemical Co, and a member of Sigma Pi at Northern Illinois University. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 2pm – 9pm. Funeral Service Saturday, September 16, 2017 with prayers in the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
