66, of New Lew Lenox, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Daniel was born in Chicago to the late Joseph F. and Bernice T. (nee Kaput) Nawracaj. Beloved husband of Cora (nee Boehm); Loving father of Jennifer (Ken), Julie (Felix) Garza and Jerilyn Buongiorno; Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Jason, Skylar, Cameron, Sammy and Sabrina; Dear brother of Cecilia (Almis) Salkauskas, Andrew (Lynn), Victoria (Terry) Garvey and Anne (Robert) Krejci; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his brother Stas also survive. Daniel was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Friday, October 17, 2014 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
