CLIFTON A. PAYNE

Age 81, of Lockport, passed away Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 at the Lemont Center in Lemont.

Clifton is survived by his loving family, children, Robert Payne, Karen (John) Stair, Matthew (Chris) Payne, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clifton was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Marie Payne (Wochna), wife, Diana Payne (York), son, Scot Payne, daughter, Kathy Holstein, siblings, Bud, Shirley, Marion, Richard, Gerald and Peggy.

Clifton was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion, John Olson Post #18 and the Lockport Moose Lodge in Lockport.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the American Legion, 15052 Archer Avenue, Lockport, IL 60441. Interment with full military honors, Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.
