Chester J. Jewula, age 83, a resident of Frankfort formerly of Palos Heights, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020. He is survived by his loving family; wife Linda (nee Anderson) Jewula; children John (Kathy) Jewula, Karen Jewula and Betty Burke; step children Lori Cerrato and Kari (Mark) Skorusa; grandchildren Julia and Cassidy Jewula, Nicolas and Anthony Cerrato and Ashley, Gabriella and Lily Skorusa; sister-in-laws Josephine Jewula and Suzanne Jewula and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Jewula; parents Stanley and Bernice; brothers Roman Jewula and Stanley Jewula, Chester was a KFC Franchisee owner for over 50 years, a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany, he was a member of the Army band playing the clarinet. Chester will be truly missed. The family will recieve friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 4PM until 8PM. Funeral services on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, prayer service at 9:15 AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth. WEARING A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL SERVICES. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
