Charlotte L. Allen (nee Giroux) of Carrollton, TX formerly of Chicago Heights born February 12, 1928 entered into eternal life June 10, 2013. Beloved mother of Mark, of Carrollton, TX; Loving grandmother of Elizabeth Rose, Plantation, FL; Cherished sister of John (Edeltraut) of Mokena; Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; Dear friend of Kathy Rae and James Rae. Preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Allen and longtime companion Gordon F Rae; her sisters Jean Scherer, Bette Hudspeth and a brother Robert Giroux. Charlotte was a long time sales associate at Marshall Fields and Wieboldt's. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort, IL 60423, Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 2 – 7PM. Funeral Service Monday with prayers at the funeral home at 8:45AM to St. Kieran Catholic Church, 724 W. 195th Street Chicago Heights, IL 60411 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
