Charles J. Carvelli "Chuck"

Charles J. Carvelli passed away at his home on Sunday July 19, 2026. Chuck was born in Chicago, IL. to the late Salvatore and Ruth Carvelli.

Chuck will be remembered as a fun and loving husband, a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished spending time with his family and especially enjoyed making memories with his great-grandchildren. Chuck was an avid bowler and found great joy in the sport throughout his life. He was also known as a great joke teller, always bringing laughter and smiles to those around him. His warmth, sense of humor, and deep love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife Judith Carvelli (nee Watson), children: Kevin Carvelli, Brian (Imee) Carvelli, Dawn (Mike) Porter, step- children: Josephine (Sam) Campagna, Jason (Sarah) Smith, grandchildren: Kevin (Amanda) Carvelli, Daniel (Nicole) Carvelli, Michael (Ashley) Porter, Augustina Carvelli, Linda (Ryan) Martinkus, great- grandchildren: Dominic, Camden, Jake, Brynn, Gabriel, Jack, Nayeli.

Chuck was preceded in death by his first wife Beverly Carvelli (nee McCloskey) 

Family will receive friends at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 12 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday July 24, 2026, from 10AM until time of services at 11AM. Interment to follow service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery Frankfort, IL.
