CHARLES E. CRONWALL

Age 76, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at his home in Frankfort.

Charles is survived by his loving family, wife, Melinda Cronwall (Elser), children, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Novelli, Amy Cronwall, siblings, Joseph (Marybeth) Cronwall, James (Roberta) Cronwall, Kathleen (Joseph) Larmon, grandchildren, Alexander Novelli, Dominic Novelli, great granddaughter, Diem Novelli and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Winifred Cronwall (Doherty).

Charles was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and played football for the Boston Patriots. Charles was the owner & operator of Great Lakes Trailer Repair in Chicago until his retirement.

Family will receive friends at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6201 Vollmer Road, Matteson IL 60443 on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
