Charles A. LoBue Sr.

Age 70, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, July 22nd, 2022.

Charles is survived by his loving family, loving wife of 50 years, Cathleen LoBue (Burns), sons, Charles A. (Michelle) LoBue Jr., Michael V. LoBue, sister, Paulette Stracci, loving Nonno to Marissa LoBue, Jacob LoBue, brother in-law, Patricia (Eddie) Salvador, uncle to several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles G. & Stephanie LoBue (Wlos), infant daughter, Courtney LoBue, twin brother, Gary LoBue and brother Nick LoBue.

Charles retired as a lifetime member of Local #150 Midwest Operation Engineers. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mokena and a longtime avid Chicago White Sox fan and astronomy and space exploration enthusiast.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, July 31st, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, August 1st, 2022 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to GiGi's Playhouse Fox Valley, American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
