Carol J. Beckman (nee Koester)

Age 85 of Monticello, Indiana formerly of Thornton, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2015; Loving wife of Edward "Bud' Beckman for 65 years; beloved mother of Gerald (Debbie) and his former wife (Elizabeth) Beckman and Susan (Joel) Klaczak; dearest sister of Patricia (late Bill) Queen; cherished grandmother of Tristin Beckman, Travis Beckman, Dana Klaczak, Kendra Klaczak and Blaine Klaczak and many nieces and nephews. Carol was a member of the Thornton Historical Society and the Thornton United Methodist Church and a former Sunday School teacher. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 2:00PM until time of funeral service at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Indiana University Health Hospice would be appreciated.
