Carla J. Gruca (Mikus), age 82, a resident of Mokena formerly of Orland Park, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Loving wife of the late Chester Gruca; beloved mother of Judy (Rick) Mitchell, Jackie (Ken) Redman and Joanie (Dave) Kramp; dearest sister of Donna Medalis and the late Doug (Hap) Mikus; cherished grandmother of Ricky (Rachel) Mitchell, Jill (Nick) Burger, Scott Redman, late Ryan Redman, Mitch Redman and Nick Redman; dear great grandmother of Lily, Duncan and Charlee; proud dog grandma of Bella, Rascal, Lexi and Sadie; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Carla loved all of her family and friends and with all of her fun and crazy ways she was truly loved by all. She was very proud of her 25 years at Andrew Corporation. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Tuesday, April 27,2023 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow to Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
