Beverly C. Bartels

Beverly C. Bartels, age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Beverly is survived by her loving daughters, Vanessa (Craig) Pearson, Holly (Dean) Battaglia, and Charlene (Chris Penland) Bartels; and her grandchildren, Eileen (Chase) Johnson, Audrey Pearson, Nicholas Battaglia, Anthony Battaglia, Jake Doman, and Heather Doman; and great- grandsons Lars and Vonn Johnson; dear sister of Jan (the late Tom) Clark; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Agnes Grigsby. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Beverly also enjoyed traveling the world with her beloved late husband James Bartels.

Services for Beverly will be on Saturday January 3, 2026 from 10am until time of chapel service at 12:30pm at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL. Beverly will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with her beloved late husband James Bartels. Interment private.
