Bette Unger

Bette Unger (Hope), age 79, a resident of Frankfort formerly of Country Club Hills and the Homewood/Flossmoor area, passed away on January 14, 2021. Loving wife of the late Lawrence "Larry" Unger; beloved mother of Charlotte Unger, Steven (Annabel) Unger, Debbie (Rick) Bell, Laura (Roy, Jr.) Trumblay and Denise (John) Obbagy; dearest sister of Patty (Michael) Krokidas and the late Mary Ann (late Charles) Cross; cherished grandmother of Jacob (Shannon), Danielle, Lucas (fiancée Alyssa), Blake (Brandi), Rachel, Nicole, Michelle and Spencer; dear aunt of Hope (Andy) Koconis, Mary Jo (Jim) Rednour and the late Thomas Bullaro and her dog Butter Cup. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. ALL THOSE IN ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE, NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN BUILDING. Interment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood at al later date.
