Age 84, of Carol Stream, passed away on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield IL.

Barbara is survived by her loving family, children, Deborah (Tom) Smythe, Donna Winters, Diane (Charles) Drungelo, grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Winters, Jessica (Ricky) Bey, Jordan Drungelo, Jonathan Smythe, great grandchildren, Keara Winters, Emery Bey, Kallie Winters, Elliot Bey and Jaxson Winters.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Abner & Aliene Frailey (McDowell), husband, Thomas Elkins, brother, Gary Frailey and son in-law Keart Winters.

Barbara was a former member of Pilgrimage Protestant Congregation in University Park and a member of the Eastern Star. She greatly enjoyed cooking, movies and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, November 4th, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Skyline Memorial Park, Monee IL.
