Barbara L. Coleman (nee Thompson)
78, of Elkhorn, WI formerly of Galena, IL passed away on Friday, March 3, 2018, surrounded by her family at her daughter's home in New Lenox. Barb was born in Elgin, IL to the late Edward and Virginia (nee Richards) Thompson. Loving mother of Randolph Plote, Beth Paulsen, Pamela Plote, and Debra Brooks; cherished grandmother of four and great-grandmother of nine; dear sister of Jerri Rae (Don) Smith, the late Dennis Thompson, and the late Judith Sutton. Barb worked for the State of Illinois as a wood restorer for the Historical Society. Family services are being held from 12pm-1pm at Haase - Lockwood Funeral Home in Elkhorn, WI. Luncheon Celebration of Life will be held at the Silver Lake Inn following services. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate her life with us.
