Barbara J. Hussman-Barr

Barbara Hussman-Barr, age 67, of Chicago Heights, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, Indiana. She was born on December 3, 1955 to late Howard & Loretta Hussman. Her brother, John Hussman and sisters Peggy Seely and Marlene James preceded her in death.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Alissa Barr and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Barb truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, eating Aurelio’s pizza, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Barb was also a devoted mother, and she had a passion for traveling, playing board games, solving puzzles, painting, reading, and caring for her loving animals. She affected many people’s lives with her compassion for others and enthusiasm for life.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 from 11:00AM until 3:00PM.
