Barbara A. Fitzgibbon (nee Garncasz)

Age 74, of Orland Park, IL passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.

Barb was born in Chicago, IL to the late Henry W. and Helen (nee Sniegowski) Garncasz.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Fitzgibbon; loving mother of John (Mary) Fitzgibbon and Scott (Lindsay) Fitzgibbon; proud grandmother of Kadyn Fitzgibbon, Sean Fitzgibbon, Olivia Fitzgibbon, and Bradley Fitzgibbon; dear sister and best friend of Sandra (late Wayne) Stuart; aunt of the late Stacey Stuart.

Barb loved family gatherings and dinners, and attending her children’s and eventually her grandchildren’s sporting events. Barb enjoyed working at Jewel, in the bakery, and the friends she made there. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
