AUGUSTINE DREHER

Age 91, of Glendale AZ, passed away on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at his home in Glendale AZ.

August is survived by his loving family, children, Ben (Sue) Dreher, Lance (Debbie) Dreher, Greg (Denise) Dreher, Valerie (Rick) Madal, Guy (Denise) Dreher, Brian (Kathy) Dreher, Carla Dreher, Theresa Dreher, Eric (Rosa) Dreher, sibling, Dolores (late William) Thomas, 27 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

August was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Dreher (Wilson), son, Mark Dreher, siblings, Josephine Fulayter, Marie Ryant, Norma Werner, Anna Hedge and Katherine Marshall-Aston.

August was a devote Catholic and member of St. Louis DeMontfort Church and St. Raphaels Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound; he was also an active member of Ambassadors of Mary.  August was a longtime truck driver and retired from the Glendale AZ school district as a janitor.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 255 West North Street, Manhattan, IL 60442. Interment, Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
