August "Augie" DelMonaco Sr.
August "Augie" DelMonaco Sr., originally from Chicago, was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family above all else.
A proud, strong-willed, old-school Italian man, Augie was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and unforgettable stories. He was always cracking jokes and telling stories his family had heard a hundred times but never stopped laughing at. He enjoyed fishing and cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks.
Augie was the beloved husband of Cynthia "Cindy" DelMonaco; loving father of Kristen Shoemaker (Joe), August "Augie" DelMonaco Jr. (Kristin), and the late Joseph "Joey" DelMonaco; and grandfather of Haley Shoemaker and Elio DelMonaco.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his humor, his stories, and the unwavering love he had for his family.
