Arthur J. Grindler, Age 79, of Homer Glen formerly of Dolton, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. Loving husband of the late Joan (nee Walsh); beloved father of John, Barbara (Greg) Widelski and Laura (Kevin) Luzan; dearest brother of Theresa (Howard) Kerr, late Adele Wiegand and LaVerne; cherished grandfather of Nichole, Anthony, Lauren, Jake, Tyler, Connor and Logan; fond uncle of Kathy (Greg) Lenz and Karen (Alan) Greenland; dear son of the late Arthur F. and Josephine (nee Huelsmann). He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 3-8PM. Funeral service Monday, December 29, 2014 in the chapel at 9:30AM leaving for St. Jude Church for a 10:00AM mass of Christian burial. Interment St. Mary Cemetery Evergreen Park IL
