Antoniette M. Swiatek

Antoinette Swiatek, 77, of Mokena, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025. Born on November 9, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, Antoinette lived a life brimming with kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Antoinette was the heart of her family, a gentle and loyal soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. She served as an Office Manager for Draper Kramer Real Estate for over 20 years and as a secretary for Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Parish, where her dedication and organizational skills left a lasting impact. Yet, her true joy came from her passions: baking, cooking, gardening, crocheting, and weaving enchanting stories for her beloved grandchildren. Her love for all things gingerbread was a delightful hallmark, filling her home with the scent of her creations and the magic of her storytelling.

Antoinette’s legacy is her boundless love for her children and grandchildren. She never missed a grandchild’s special event or sports game, cheering with pride and filling every moment with encouragement. Family gatherings were her cherished occasions, where her gentle presence brought everyone together in laughter and love. She lived for her beloved husband, William; her children—Steven (Nancy), Laura (Paul), Lisa (late Anthony), Brian (Kelly), and Leslie (Thomas); and her grandchildren: Steven (Kaitlin), Joseph, Carly, Emma, Anthony, Luke, Hannah, Michael, Benjamin, Weiland, and Sebastian. She is also survived by her great-grandchild, Beau, her sister-in-law, Linda, and her long time cherished friends from "Club." 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL. Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 am then to St. Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Mokena, IL, for Mass at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christmas Without Cancer. Antoinette’s loving spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate to know her.
