ANTONIA Di VINCENZO
Age 91, of New Lenox, formerly of the East Side of Chicago, passed away peacefully on October 21st, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Antonia was preceded in death by her husband, Remo Di Vincenzo, parents, Domenick & Maria Colantuono, siblings Raymond Colantuono and Vince Colantuono.
Antonia is survived by her loving family, daughter, Maria (Guido) Falaschetti, grandchildren, Guido L. Falaschetti, Stephanie Falaschetti, Gino Falaschetti, siblings, Daniel (Anne Claire) Colantuono, Josephine (Tony) Mickus, sister in-law, Ernestina (late Raymond) Colantuono and numerous nieces and nephews.
Antonia was born in Cerro al Volturno, Isernia, Italy, in 1934, where she lived for 35 years before immigrating to the East Side of Chicago in the 1960s with her husband, Remo, and their daughter, Maria. They made there home there for most of their lives. In 2019, she moved to New Lenox to be closer to her daughter. Throughout her life, Antonia found great joy in cooking homemade Italian dishes and spending time with family and friends.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, October 27th, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 155th Avenue, Mokena IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park IL.
