Anthony J. Stinnett

Anthony (Tony) Stinnett, age 36, of New Lenox, IL, passed away surrounded by loved ones Monday, August 15, 2022, after a courageously fought battle with his health.

Tony was the beloved son of David Stinnett and Susan (Gary) Talarico and the hilarious little brother to Emily (Gene) Stanford, Michael Stinnett, and Daniel (Maria) Stinnett. His unsurpassed wit & charm will be truly & greatly missed. Tio Tony was adored by his nieces and nephews, and he adored them to the moon & back. He called them "the lights of his life." Lily, Vivienne, Wyatt, Ruby Stanford, Jonathan, and Lydia Stinnett. Tony also leaves behind many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He knew no strangers and his heart loved deeply.

Tony enjoyed beautiful adventures & travels throughout his lifetime and loved the world's cultures. He loved music (Shakira was his favorite), all food especially Italian, languages (he had studied Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Italian and French), and had a passion for history. Tony had a giving and generous heart, and was the friendliest face at his family's businesses: Comar Drilling Company as a young man and later became the co-owner of the New Lenox and Lockport McDonald's restaurants. He especially enjoyed the frozen pancakes, which he would keep on hand at his home. He loved working with the employees, and continually made them laugh throughout their shifts. He treated all the customers kindly and ran successful businesses.

Tony understood that we pass from death to life and that he would be able to spend eternity with his lord and savior Jesus Christ. We will always miss, and love our sweet Tony.

Services for Tony will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, with a visitation being held from 3pm until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Anthony's name would be appreciated.
