Anna Mae Basarich

Age 86 of Frankfort, IL passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Anna was born in Joliet, IL to the late Anton and Anne (nee Sems) Prince.

Beloved wife, for over 62 years of the late Robert J. Basarich; loving mother of Bradley (Cheryl) Basarich; dear sister of Janet (Gary) Wire; sister-in-law of Dan (Joyce) Basarich; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Anna was a CPA and retired from James E. Hearns & Associates, New Lenox, IL. Anna had a love of landscaping. She enjoyed the beauty of flowers and trees. Anna also enjoyed reading and walking, but especially loved spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anna will be buried with her husband at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
