Anita Tijerina

Anita Tijerina (nee Ochoa) was born in Millett, Tx to the late Marcelino and Felicita Ochoa and passed away May 12, 2025. Beloved mother of Randolph (Elvelina) Tijerina, Daniel (Stephanie) Tijerina, and Marcy (Vince) Valentine; proud Nani of Austin Tijerina, Lily Valentine, Luke Valentine, Lance John Valentine, and Daniel Tijerina; Great Nani of Austin Tijerina; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Sunday May 18, 2025, from 3-8 PM. Prayers at the funeral home will take place Monday May 19, 2025, at 9 AM before processing to St. Augustine Catholic Church 4130 147th St. Midlothian, IL. 60445 for Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankfort, IL.
