Anita Daniels

Anita Daniels, age 64, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

Anita is survived by her mother Viola Benaitis; husband Robert Daniels; children, Robert (Randi) Daniels, James (Lindsey) Daniels, and Laura Daniels; grandchildren, Jaden, Tanner, Knox, Emelia, Camryn; brother, David Gall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by father Kenneth Absher, and her second chosen father Raymond Benaitis; brothers, Kenneth Absher, Ronald Absher, Richard Absher.

Anita worked for ABC Supply for over 20 years and was loved and respected across the entire company. Her home paid homage to her love of thrifting and garage sales, and found joy in collecting “treasures”, Anita devoted every day of her life to her family, whether traveling to her roots in Kentucky or being “The Person” for her loved ones during all of life’s moments. Her family will forever miss their rock. She was the glue that held everyone together and she will be missed by all that knew her. “Death is not the end because you cannot bury love”. She will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren forever.

Services for Anita will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. in New Lenox, with a visitation from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 4pm.
