Allen Lee Klausing, 66, of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away on April 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted father, proud grandfather, and an amazing brother and friend, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born on October 22, Allen lived a life rooted in simplicity, hard work, and a true appreciation for the outdoors. He spent several years as the owner of Klausing Tree Service and later drove trucks with his friends of local businesses. In his free time, he collected Oliver tractors and was an active member of the Will County Threshermen’s Association. His strength and steady presence were the foundation of his family.
Allen was the kind of person who never met a stranger. With a story always ready and a laugh never far behind. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and anywhere. His warmth, generosity, and ability to connect made him a friend to many and a comfort to all.
More than anything, Allen cherished his daughters and granddaughters. They were the light of his life, and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. He was always there to lend a hand or offer words of encouragement.
Allen is survived by his granddaughters, Emry Klausing-James and Kiora Tempel; his daughters, Krystle Tempel and Katy Klausing; his sisters, Debi (John) Abel and Ellen Frederick; his niece, Corrie Abel; and his sister-in-law, Susan (Rich) Johanson-Lentz.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Klausing, and his parents, Robert and Carol Klausing.
