Age 94, of Frankfort passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Albert is survived by his loving wife Patricia Martin, children Albert (Kathy) Martin, Charles "Chuck" (Dulcie) Martin, Alicia (Tom) Naughton, Jennifer (Jim) Valecko, grandchildren Will Rubino (Tori), Lia Heistand (Matt), Arann Naughton, Jordan Martin, Taylor Martin, Emma Martin, Alexis Martin, Max Martin, great grandchildren Alex Rubino, Thomas Heistand, Maverick Martin and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Albert is proceeded in death by his parents Albert Sr. and Alice Martin, sisters Clarita Suareo, Romayne Rubinas
Al was devoted to his family, supported their endeavors, and cherished their accomplishments. Al served during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army Security Agency. After completing his MBA at New York University, Al worked in retail merchandising management in New York and Chicago. He completed his career as a postman since the early hours allowed him time for involvement in his childrens’ sports.
Upon retirement, Al engaged in his passion to provide food and basic essentials for those in need, shopping daily and donating to the St. Anthony’s Food Pantry. In lieu of flowers, donations to https://lightways.org/ in Al's name would be appreciated.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, from 3PM until 7PM. Funeral Mass, Monday, January 12th, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL
