Albert M. Bodane

Age 88, of Frankfort, formerly of Hazel Crest and Baltimore, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011. A veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII, a longtime member of St. Joseph Parish in Homewood, Boy Scouts of America Homewood Troop 382 and St. Vincent DePaul. Beloved husband of 64 years Corinne (nee Geraghty) Bodane; loving father of: Gary (Melanie) Bodane, Anne (Gordon) Luft and Mark (Mary) Bodane. Proud Grandfather of: Bridget (Andy) Michaelson, Kevin (Tera), Michael, Patrick and Joseph Doyle, Stephanie (Kyle) Zikmund, Christopher and Nicholas Bodane. Dearest Great Grandfather of Corinne Zikmund, and an expected great- granddaughter in January. He was preceded in death by his parents: Francis and Elizabeth (nee Duff) Bodani and siblings Francis and Kenneth Bodani. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Anthony Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423, on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 9:30 until time of memorial mass at 10:00am. Inurnment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Heart Association or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
