Alan J. English

Alan J. English, age 55 a resident of Manhattan formerly of Walthill, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Loving husband of Keri English (Peterson); beloved father of Alison and Eve English; dearest son of Rita (Don) Murphy and the late Kenneth English; dear brother of Mark (Tara) English and Toby (Sara) English; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Alan was a Network Administrator at Schiff Hardin in Chicago for the majority of his career. He was an active member of the Dodge Viper Club of Illinois, loved fishing with his brothers and enjoyed his trips to Minnesota. A visitation will be held for Alan at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 PM. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Nebraska.
