25 of Blue Island, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Zach was born in Hazel Crest, IL to Michelle (Michael) Dammer and Michael Johnsen. Loving boyfriend of Chloe Greybill; dear brother of Nicole Johnsen, Ashley Johnsen, and Elizabeth (Joey Powell) Johnsen; loved nephew, cousin, and friend; devoted cat dad of Faye. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Richard and Phyllis Minnick and paternal grandparents Dennis and Dena Johnsen. Zach was employed by Healthcare Waste Management. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Services Friday, December 17, 2021 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
