Age 70, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital Joliet. Beloved husband of Dorothy A. (nee Kotas); loving father of Daniel, Michael (Amanda), Kathy (Larry) LeBlanc, and Cheri (Steve) Hinger; cherished grandfather of 9; dear brother of James (Linda) Ruhl and Doris (Hugh) Doyle;. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence W. and Margaret G. (nee Carey) Ruhl. William was employed by the City of Chicago, Water Department for over 30 years, and member of Local # 399 Operating Engineers. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 3-8 PM. Funeral Service Friday, August 26, 2011, prayers at 9:15AM to St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation 5841 S. Maryland Ave., MC1140, Chicago, IL 60637.
