WILLIAM CHARLES SCHAFFERT III

Age 56, of Lockport, passed away Sunday, October 28th, 2018.

William is survived by his loving family, wife, Christine Schaffert (Ochoa), mother, Carol Schaffert (Rickert), stepchildren, Rebecca (Oswaldo) Calderon, Edward J. Kmiec, special aunt, Doralee Schaffert, siblings, Daren (Karen) Schaffert, Shawn (Sherri) Schaffert, LeeAnn (Todd) Steele, special friend, Michael (Kathy) Bromer and many nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Charles Schaffert II.

William was a 1980 graduate of Lemont High School and was employed by the Village of Westmont. He was very kind, loving and greatly enjoyed playing chess, football and researching genealogy.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441. Funeral service, Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 with prayers at the funeral home at 10:00 AM at then to the First United Methodist Church, 1032 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515 for a service at 11:00 AM.
