WILLIAM A. HAVLE SR.

Age 79, of New Lenox, passed away on Sunday, April 4th, 2021 at his home in New Lenox.

William is survived by his loving family, children, William (Sarah) Havle Jr., Karen (Larry) Shiner, sister, Donna Curtin, grandchildren, William Havle III, Tyler Havle, Ava Havle, Amy (Job Gunderson) Purcell, Sara Glass, Jenny (David) Black, Brian (Trisha) Anderson, Heidi (Robert) Buhle, Cher Anderson, Susan Anderson, great grandchildren, Nathan Purcell, Ryan Purcell, Evan Purcell, Eli Glass, Olivia Black, Owen Black, Brooks Anderson, Nellie Anderson, Abby Buhle, Sarah Buhle, Hanna Buhle, Allen Anderson and Robbie Johnson.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William & LaVerne Havle (Schoenenberger), wife Bernice Havle (Schmuhl), children, Ken (Diane) Anderson, Warren Anderson and brother in-law Jim Curtin.

William was a 1958 graduate of Morgan Park Military Academy and a United States Air Force Veteran.

DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC; MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL SERVICES AND NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT THIS TIME.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A private graveside service and interment will be held at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Joliet, IL 60431. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431would be appreciated.
