WALTER JAMES “JIM” THERRIEN

Age 78, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at his home in Frankfort.

Jim is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary “Gina” Therrien (Reeves), children, Richard (Michelle) Therrien, Douglas Therrien, Michele (Robert) Krause, James (Charity) Therrien, sister, Ninita Therrien, grandchildren, Ian Murphy, Dean Therrien, Zachary Therrien, Brandon Therrien, Tyler Krause, Trevor Krause, Alexis Krause, Tasi Therrien, Hope Therrien and Margaret Therrien.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Walter F. & Evelyn Therrien (Fournier) and sister Judith Tasillo.

Jim was a United States Air Force Veteran and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort. He was a former pilot and aviation mechanic who was very active in the Experimental Aircraft Association. Jim also volunteered at the Veteran’s Administration.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 from 9:30 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Experimental Aircraft Association or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
