Wallace "Skip" Salabura

June 30, 1972 — May 30, 2022

Wallace “Skip” Salabura, age 49, passed away at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet on Tuesday, May 30, 2022.

Skip is survived by his son Jacob Salabura; parents Wallace and Mary (nee Hinko) Salabura; brothers, William (fiance Christine) Salabura, Wesley (Terry) Salabura; nieces and nephews, Makalyn Salabura, Jaicelyn Salabura, Lucas Salabura, Nicolas Salabura, and Blake Salabura.

Preceded in death by his wife Trisha (nee Kiefer) Salabura; maternal grandparents, Taras and Elizabeth Hinko; and his paternal grandparents, John and Emma Salabura.

Skip will always be remembered for loving to be outdoors. Whether that was gardening, boating, riding his Harley, or riding snowmobiles. He was an incredibly talented carpenter and took much pride in his work. Above all else Skip will be remembered for loving his family. He loved them dearly and cherished any time he was able to spend with them.

Services for Skip will begin on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 with a memorial visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, in New Lenox from 11am until the time of service at 3pm.
