Age 88, of Orland Park, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. Beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Grady; loving mother of Patricia (Anthony) Mehok, Thomas (Jodi Smith) Grady, Virginia (William) Mitchell, Diane (Richard) Petrakovic, Marian Grady, Ellen (Kevin) Darby, Brian (Sherry) Grady, and Kristen (Sandy) Pickett; cherished grandmother of Kelly (David) Conrad, Lauren Mehok, Anthony Mehok, William (Kathy) Mitchell, Erin (Brian) Kuhn, Ryan (Sabrina) Mitchell, Rochelle Cantor, James Wallace, Kevin (Jenna) Darby, Nicole Darby, Nolan Darby, Patrick Grady, Brianna Grady, Chase Pickett, Thomas Pickett, Tristan Pickett and great-grandmother of 18; dear sister of Kenneth (Patricia) Mauge. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Clara Mauge and brother Robert (late Loretta) Mauge and grandson Scott Petrakovic. Virginia was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Genoa in Roseland and member of St. Francis of Assisi in Orland Park. She was a longtime member of the Mother's and Daughter's Club, the Sound of Music club, and actively involved with the Early Bird's Bowling league and St. Bede's Golf league. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Monday, July 13, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 with chapel prayers at 9:15 AM to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 15050 S. Wolf Rd., Orland Park, IL 60467 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
