99, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Joliet Area Hospice Home. Vincent was born in Emington, IL to the late William C. and Catherine (nee Turner) Krippel. Beloved husband of the late Anna Marie (nee Miller), loving father of Robert (Paula), Kathy (Jim) Yunker, Dr. Gregory (Lynn), and William (Marla); cherished grandfather of Jessica Krippel, Adam (Deidre) Krippel, Joseph (fiancée Rosanne) Yunker, Michelle Yunker, Jeffrey Yunker, Corrie (Terry) Lee, Brian (Sara) Krippel Steven (Jodi) Krippel; proud great grandfather of Clare and Connor Krippel, Joe Tarrant, Payton and Jake Lee, Katelyn, Emilee and William Krippel. Vincent was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the New Lenox VFW and St Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 3 – 8pm. Funeral Service Friday, April 20, 2018 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment with Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
