Tyrone "Ty" Patrick Knauz
59, of New Lenox formerly of Orland Park and Oak Lawn passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. Ty was born in Chicago to the late William Knauz and Jo Anne McCaffrey. Beloved husband of Jacquelyn Valasek; loving father of Colleen (Nicholas) DiMaggio; Kerri Knauz, and Kara Jones; dear brother of Kevin McCaffrey, and Kelly (John) Bollito; proud uncle of Bryan McCaffrey, Brittany, Gina, Kathleen, and Jack Bollito and Jack and Paige Dennis and fond cousin of many. Ty was a hard worker inside and outside the home, loved his children, was strong in faith, supportive and giving to others, and spread love and laughter to all. Ty was known as the master chef of the family. He loved hosting gatherings, made all feel welcome, accepted, and worthy. He especially enjoyed living the "HighLife" with family and friends by the water. He loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, sunsets with his sweetie and late night campfires.
