Toby Faye Skonecke (nee Beshansky)
66, of Galena formerly of Frankfort and Flossmoor, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Toby was born in Boston, MA to the late Albert and Barbara (nee Katler) Beshansky. Beloved wife of Steven J. Skonecke; loving mother of Aimee (Chad) El-Zayaty, Joshua (Holly) Skonecke, and Lindsay Skonecke; cherished grandmother of Zoe and Ethan El-Zayaty, and Eliya Skonecke; dear sister of Alan Beshansky and Barry Beshansky; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Toby was a teacher and Administrator in Matteson School District 162 for 43 years, retiring in 2013. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2:00pm until time of Words of Remembrance at 4:30pm.
