67, of Mokena, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oak Lawn. Larry was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Morris and Blanche (nee Humphrey) Block. Beloved husband of Dee (nee Pitt) Block; Loving father of Matthew Block; Dear brother of Hal Block and Elka (Frank Purcell) Block; Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. Larry was a U.S. Navy (Nuclear Submarine) Veteran. He loved Hawaiian shirts and the bands UB40 and The Beach Boys. Private Services were held with U.S. Navy Burial At Sea ceremony to be performed at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials to LincolnWay East Music Boosters would be appreciated.
