THOMAS P. GRADY

Age 88, of Orland Park, passed away Thursday, December 13th, 2012 at RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale.

Thomas is survived by his loving family, wife, Virginia Grady (Mauge), children, Patricia (Anthony) Mehok, Thomas (Jodi Smith) Grady, Virginia (William) Mitchell, Diane (Richard) Petrakovic, Marian Grady, Ellen (Kevin) Darby, Brian (Sherry) Grady, Kristen (Sandy) Pickett, grandchildren, Kelly (David) Conrad, Lauren Mehok, Anthony (Heidi) Mehok, William (Kathy) Mitchell, Erin (Brian) Kuhn, Ryan (Sabrina) Mitchell, Rochelle Cantor, James Wallace, Kevin Darby, Nicole Darby, Nolan Darby, Patrick Grady, Brianna Grady, Chase Pickett, Thomas Pickett, Tristan Pickett and 18 great grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Ellen Grady (Scanlon) and grandson Scott Petrakovic.

Thomas was a WWII Navy veteran and the founder of Empire Tire Company in Orland Park. He was also a member of St. Mary's Church in Mokena.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Sunday, December 16th, 2012 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, December 17th, 2012 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Mary's Church, 19515 S. 115th Ave., Mokena for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Illinois Veteran's Home in Manteno would be appreciated.
