Thomas J. Kenny

Thomas “Tom” J. Kenny, 63 of Tinley Park, passed away suddenly on Dec. 18, 2022. He is survived by his wife Margaret “Maggie” nee Gilligan daughters, Susan (Eileen) Kenny and Sinead Kenny, son John “Jack” Kenny, grandchildren: Ronan, Sean and Norah Kenny, siblings: John (Joan) Kenny, Tim (Brenda) Kenny, Patrick (Maria) Kenny, Maura (Joe) Thompson, loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and also by his four grand-dogs. Tom was preceded in death by his parents: John and Eleanor Kenny. Tom retired from Chicago State University where he was Chief Operating Engineer and proud Member of Local 399. He loved his family, road trips, swimming, and animals, especially dogs.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Dec. 29, 2022 at from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., at St. Stephen, Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church, 17500 84th Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60487, Tinley Park, IL 60487.
