80, of New Lenox, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at his home. Thomas was born in Chicago to the late Roy W. and Florence (nee Denman) Hawks. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Hart); loving father of Carole (Charles) Warning, Susan (David) Wicker and Thomas Jr. (Lynn); cherished grandfather of Christopher (Sonese) Frantz, Scott Frantz Jr., Melissa (Mark) Wallace, Stefanie (Dan) Warning, Jordan (Karli) Frantz, Amy Frantz, Brittani (Jeff) Riley, Ryan (Tracy) Warning and Thomas W. Hawks; dear brother of Dorothy (Ronald) Putzler, the late Marion (the late Robert) McSweeney and the late Florence (the late John) Allen; fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas served in the U.S. Naval Reserves for 11 years. He was Owner/Operator of both C.C. Austin's Body Shop Supplies, Chicago for over 20 years and Werner's Hardware Co., LaGrange Park for 10 years. Private family services were held.
