Thomas Banis

Thomas Banis, age 65 of New Lenox, passed away peacefully Monday October 25, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Jean (van Hecke) Banis. Beloved husband of 45 years to Linda (Salach); loving father of Jennifer (Keith) Brault and Cheryl (David) Seiber; cherished and proud grandpa of Donato Gentile, Jr, Nevaeh Seiber, Matteo Seiber, Reagan Brault and Jaxson Brault; dear brother of Lynn (Greg) Schmidt, Susan Banis, Diane Kiaunis, Michelle Melone and Tia Starcevic; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; also survived by many cousins and dear friends. Tom had a passion for deer/turkey hunting, fishing and playing Xbox. He was owner of CMB Printing, Inc in Burr Ridge, Illinois. Tom was a member of both the National Rifle Association and Illinois State Rifle Association, the Frankfort Sportsman Club, and was a Mason. Tom will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Private services will be held.
