Theresa C. “Tess” “Thea” Keegan (Muehlbauer)
Age 88, lifelong resident of Lockport, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Beloved wife of 63 years to the love of her life the late Gene Keegan; survived by the greatest joys of her life her children: Carol (Jim) Dvorchak, Debra (Ira Barry) Keegan, Jim (Martha) Keegan, Tom (Gail) Keegan, Bob Keegan, and Patricia (Skip) Sharick; cherished grandmother of Kathleen (Scott) Jacob, Connor Keegan, Ryan (Kayla) Sharick, Anna Dvorchak, Megan Keegan, David Barry, Danielle Dvorchak, Kyle Barry, Darin (Stacey) Sharick, Jeremy (Gwen) Sharick, Nikki (Jacob) Rains, Jack Keegan, Will Keegan, Shannon (Nathan) Messer, and the late Daniel Barrett; and great-grandmother of Alex Sharick, Kaylee (Aaron) Noble, Shelby Sharick, Whitney Sharick, Olivia Sharick, Noah Messer, Ella Messer, and Jordyn Rains; and dear friend of many. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Frances Muehlbauer (Pongratz) and brother Carl Muehlbauer. Tess was a member of St. Dennis Church, and loved singing in the choir. She retired from JCPenny after 26 years of dedicated employment and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. Tess enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends, and maintained close relationships with her childhood girlfriends. The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2-7 PM. Funeral service Monday, October 15, 2018 with chapel prayers at 10:00 AM to St. Dennis Catholic Church, 1214 S.
