Terry L. Patton

Terry L. Patton (nee Woolard), age 67, resident of New Lenox, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2017 with her family by her side. Terry is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Bill Patton; loving children Kimberly (Scott) Senffner and Christine Patton (Brian Palmer); grandchildren Cassie (Colton), Ryan, Mya, and Baylee; great-grandchildren Olivia and Ryder; her sister Randy Woolard; nieces Jennifer Stafford, Michelle Teutemacher, Terri Reeves, Tona Iverson, Tracey Sauer and nephews Michael Hoh and Russell Hoh. Terry was preceded in death by her parents William and Dorothy Woolard (Prince) and her sister Sandra Woolard.

Terry was born in Harvey, Illinois and spent most of her life in New Lenox. She had a wonderful 31 year career at the Lincoln Way Area Special Education Co-op District 843 and is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the International Society of Key Women Educators. Terry loved working with children and cherished every moment she spent with them.

Known as 'Grammy' by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Terry was the most loving and caring person to those who knew her and had many friends. Despite many physical hardships, Terry persevered through them all and has been and will continue to be an inspiration to all.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM. Interment will be private.
