SYLVIA M. BLASZKIEWICZ

Age 98, of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, July 8th, 2018 at her home in New Lenox.

Sylvia was the oldest of 14 children, she is survived by her loving family; husband, Robert Blaszkiewicz, children, Jeffrey (Cathy) Martin, Douglas (Nancy) Martin, grandchildren, Jason (Katie) Carter, Lindsay Martin, Megan Martin, Lynda (Tyler) Funchess, Brian Martin, great grandchildren, Jamie Carter, Jack Carter, Brooklyn Pugh and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Mildred Marsch (Horton) and daughter Judith Carter.

Cremation rights have been accorded and Sylvia’s cremated remains will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
