Suzanne T. Sherwood, age 72 passed away with family by her side on November 23, 2017 due to complications after her fight against ovarian cancer. She was born March 19, 1945 in Evergreen Park IL to Catherine and Ellsworth (Bud) Jones. She attended Southern Illinois University. She turned her love of dogs from her first champion Royal into a lifetime passion for showing/breeding dogs and was the owner/proprietor of Royale English Cocker Spaniels. Her determination to make the breed of the highest quality would result in over 30 confirmation champions including her favorite dogs Megan, Teddy, and Satchel. She was often consulted for her expertise and knowledge of the English Cocker Spaniel breed. She was an avid gardener who took great pride in her flowers and spent hours feeding and watching the birds and squirrels who inhabited her enormous garden. Previously employed as a regional manager for Victoria Secret, she began her managerial career with Fotomat. She recently retired from Orland Primary Care Center to spend more time with family.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kendell (husband Victor) Stachelski her grandchildren: Ryan (Jenn), Tyler, and Casey, her sister Kathleen Ollis, nephew Drew (Sue), niece Jennifer, and numerous great nieces and nephews, along with her very special "adopted daughter" Cindy Jones.
