Age 79, a resident of Bridgeview, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020. Loving father of Debby (Richard) Tremble, Allen Wilson, and Brian Wilson; cherished grandfather of Danielle Tremble, Rachel Tremble, and Caitlyn Wilson; dear brother of Caroline Loyd, Linda Wilson, and Milly (Gerry) Brown; devoted partner of Joyce Milbrandt; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Violet Wilson. Steve was a proud United States Navy Veteran who served on the U.S.S. Midway and was a member of Glenn Maker American Legion Post #1160. He had an enormous heart of gold. His charm, quick wit, laughter, smile and his worldly advice will truly be missed. Steve liked the outdoors and enjoyed watching and feeding the wildlife. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 3-8pm. Private funeral service Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
