Stephen R. Stubblefield

Stephen R. Stubblefield, age 75, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
Stephen is survived by his loving children, Stephanie (Gary) Tavoletti, Brett (Missy Froehlke) Stubblefield, Dana (Mike) Stack; grandchildren, Cale Stubblefield, Paige Tavoletti, Dominic Tavoletti, Hailey Stack, Blake Stack, Casyn Stubblefield, Dallas Stack, Carson Stack, and Ryan Rajaballey; siblings, Jim (June) Stubblefield, and Tom (Bonnie) Stubblefield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia (nee Coleman) Stubblefield.
Stephen will always be remembered for his love of golf, and his passion for his corvettes. He was also a big fan of baseball and would also spend his spare time landscaping. Stephen was a sweet man and will be missed by all that knew him.
Services for Stephen will take place on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022. Guests are encouraged to meet at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. at 11:30am to process together to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery for a committal service with full military honors at 12:30pm.
